today,played a match against raffles institute. young,fast,gd all de ball runs,but all quite fragile aha. enjoyed sliding n bringing pple down =p but now left knee's gettin shaky. ahh. limping now. but it was worth it. =) oh,we kept a clean sheet btw. won by de solitary goal which ed had a hand in. aha.
sian lahh tml still got sch. n all de yr1s r not in! no queues at de canteen =D

okay. qns is, wad's de diff between a tor,n a corestone. start with similarities 1st la,as a warm up,n cos it's easier.. aha.
both r granitic landforms,duh. both need heavy chemical weathering to be formed. both r extrusive landforms.
a tor is defined as a landform that consists of rectangular,rounded blocks of granite. dis bugger called D.L. Linton says that they were formed by sub-surface CW,specifically hydrolysis by rainwater, that exploits the joints in de bedrock to widen them. thus they appear rounded n in blocks. this called spheroidal weathering. so we call de more-weathered rock at de top,which will be more rounded,corestones, but de whole pile that appears above ground a tor.
