since guard duty i've been fiddling with my phone and caught in a real double-bind. to msg her, or not to msg her... typed in msg ald then thought better of it then keep the phone... only to fiddle with it again... cant really sleep, keep looking at phone... nigel's winning 11 in his DS kept my mind off this for awhile so it wasnt that bad... but still succumbed to sending some dumb stuff while on the way home. where is this going? do i really really want to be there?

was gonna blog on sat night, then fell asleep reading... haha... oh and blogger auto saves posts now yay! =D

but sigh manu lost the fa cup. havent seen the highlights yet, so i cant really bitch about it yet... heh.

okay so after blogging on friday night went to spent the night at kam's hse... saw 43 at the bus stop when i got out of the lift! didnt catch it... i must work on my shuttle run... haha...

sat morning played street soccer... dunno why but just felt that i had more confidence when it comes to holding the ball... not when i'm like playing in camp. hmm. pressure in camp bah. not much highlights cept for one fingertip save from felix's top-right corner shot haha...

rushed home. then went for lunch b4 fellowship... after a very very long while of not being able to make up our minds eleen her friend and i ended up eating mac's at harbourfront... or rather i was eating, the 2 of them were watching... =/ and yuan was in harbourfront too! too bad didnt meet up... end up also eat macs... still late... haha...

fellowship, we played classic icebreaker games... xhui's occupation-to-be was plainly obvious... haha... the questions asked were hard... and yes i thought i didnt need a phobia haha. double whacko! the more confusing the more fun actually heh.

after that it's dinner then went to newton life church for a talk by dr stephen tong... something about the link between religion and culture... i didnt quite catch the flow actually haha... but at least didnt doze off heh.

doze off? uhh ltr la, while in bed reading rankin and waiting for sister to use finish com... yes a laptop would be nice...

today. woke up with a big cold. so bad that you see stars after a sneezing fit that kind. wahh.

sermon was on offerings of the family, but it digressed a lil and touch on personal stuff as well... well it's the thought and heart that counts, not the what or how much...

does carrying stuff eg a keyboard around counts? hah.

anyways sunday sch then lunch then hymn singing... haha darius can really hit the high notes man! me, i'm just sticking with jiajun and weiwu cant really go wrong with them arnd hah.

then off to mind's cafe! coool place. good food classy pple lots of fun. in celebration of 3SG KELVIN LER's birthday met up with gx and seetoh... definitely gonna bring other pple to this place hah. if the boss sees this will i get discount? free ad leh haha.

what a thought. the power of prayer and faith. =)

and just nice i was complaining about capt joel ytd today's sunday sch lesson touched on the book of Ezra, how cyrus king of persia, although he did not believe in the God of the isrealites, was still under His power to allow the jews to go back to jerusalem. gives hope that as long as you hand your problems to God He'll know what to do with it. =)

talking about complaining bout army, today we had a guest speaker dr. samuel ling, who talked about how Jesus is in our everyday life, in our day job that we're in for the other 6 days of the week, and he ended with 3 questions:

how do i witness for Christ in the workplace?
how can i get support from other Christians, to witness for Christ in my workplace?
how do i understand the true nature of my work?

and hymn singing class was fun hah, altho i'm not real good at it. more pple would have been better.

looking forward to next weekend! there's othello, and the christian ns guys gathering (anyone who fits that very obvious pre-requisite and are interested lemme know haha), and then there's fellowship and another sunday in church hah.

just awoke after sleeping since bout 8 when i got back after guard duty... draining... made to do an extra 6 hours cause the RPs' had some cohesion event... as if their job scopes ain't alr small enough... sigh.

did quitea lot of work in the office! hah. finished reading potter and the half blood prince. the ending leaves you waiting eagerly for that final book, but i dont think i'll get to read it soon. then i got my new notebook and filled it up with all the notes i made in all the bulletins that i've collected the past 3 times at church... and finished that lil booklet on apologetics. which meant that i didnt sleep much hah. so adrian and derek are fellow brothers in Christ! didnt know hah. derek exposed my "noob-ness" with the Bible when he went "what you dont know what's John 3:16???"
