Dear Father,
thank You for the day of studying today. thank You for the chance to have a university education, and the chance to take a module where the works of your followers are dissected, discussed, debated. i pray that the things that are learnt will not be forgotten in the same instant that our scripts are handed up; for believers, it will be something that reminds us constantly of the mistakes of our forebears, for non-believers, that they will see beyond the sinful behaviours of ours and see what You have meant for the world.
may our exam be a true reflection of how much effort we have put into our vocation as a student, that Lord You have called us to. i ask for Your peace and grace for us all.
may the name of Jesus be not just an academic buzzword in this whole exercise, but eventually a name on which every knee will bow, and every tongue confess is Lord.
and it is in His Name that i pray,
